Vier Tage vor dem Start der Europameisterschaften ist das deutsche Team bereits heute in Rostock eingetroffen. Noch haben Sie das Becken für sich alleine, aber bald werden auch die anderen Teams nach Rostock kommen. Da ist es gut noch mal in Ruhe trainieren zu können um sich an die Wettkampfanlage gewöhnen zu können.

Four days before the European Championships will start, the german Team has already arrived in Rostock. For today they had been the only Team practicing, but there will be more  Teams arriving in the next few days. So they had enough time to get used to the Springboards and Plattform.

Nächste Woche starten die Wettkämpfe der Europameisterschaften. Die Vorbereitungen laufen. Organisatoren sind gestresst, Sportler feilen an ihren Sprüngen und die Aufbauteams arbeiten auf Hochtouren. Das ganz normale Chaos vor so einer EM eben. Alles in allem kann es aber jeder kaum erwarten, dass es bald endlich losgeht. Am Dienstag den 09.06. geht es mit der Eröffnung los, anschließend kommen die Teamwettkämpfe. Wir sind gespannt.

The European Championships will start next week. Officials are stressed, athletes work hard. Just the normal chaos. But everybody is looking forward for the competition to start. The official Opening will be next Tuesday, after that the Teamcompetition will take place. 

Die World Series 2015 sind nun zu Ende. Für die deutschen Wasserspringer war der letzte Stopp in Mexico sehr erfolgreich. Mit einem 5. Platz vom 3m-Brett konnte sich Patrick Hausding den 2. Platz in der Gesamtwertung der World Series sichern.

Im Synchronspringen vom 10m-Turm konnten Patrick Hausding und Sascha Klein durch die Silbermedaille auch den 2. Rang in der Gesamtwertung verteidigen.

Auch im Synchronspringen vom 3m-Brett konnte das deutsche Team eine Medaille erspringen. Patrick Hausding und Stephan Feck erreichten sowohl bei dem Wettkampf in Mexico, als auch in der Gesamtwertung der World Series den 3. Platz.

Die guten Platzierungen lassen darauf hoffen, dass auch die Wettkämpfe bei der EM in knapp 8 Tagen ähnlich erfolgreich für die deutsche Nationalmannschaft enden werden.

The 2015 World Series just ended. It has been a quite succesfull weekend for the german divers in Mexico. Patrick Hausding finished his 3m Springboard competition in 5th Place. He won the silver medal in the overall ranking of the 2015 World Series at the 3m Springboard event.

Together with his Teammate Sascha Klein he competed also at the 10m Plattform Synchronized event. They won the silver medal, also in the overall ranking.

At the 3m Springboard Synchronized event, Patrick Hausding and Stephan Feck finished in third Place. That also means a third Place in the 2015 World Series overall ranking.

The succes of the german divers could lead to another succesfull weekend in Rostock. They seem to be well prepared. There are only 8 days left.
